Judy loved details, in most cases it didn’t matter the subject, she just wanted to know more. Given that, it’s difficult to summarize her 76 years in a few paragraphs and still capture her essence.
Judy’s first 14 years were in Illinois and then moved to Jump River, WI where she graduated from Gilman High School. She married Doug Kuehne and moved to Milwaukee, WI where she was blessed with Dougie Jr and Lynn Renee. She returned to Gilman, WI with Doug and Lynn following her divorce from Doug Sr. and found love with Warren. They moved to Circle Pines, MN where they welcomed Kevin and Janelle. Warren and Judy were married nearly 43 years before his passing.
In Minnesota, Judy applied for one cleaning job in 1975. That was the start of her own cleaning business. For the next 40 years, the rest of her jobs all came by referral, her work clearly spoke for itself. Over the years, Judy became a part of the families she worked for, celebrating their birthdays and holidays over the years.
When Judy wasn’t working, she enjoyed road trips out West with Warren, anytime with her grandchildren and any family get together. It was a chance for her to meet people and hear their stories while also sharing a few of her own.
Judy’s cancer diagnosis in 2016 was a huge blow to her, no one is ever prepared. She was determined to fight and wanted to try the recommended treatments. It was hard for her and she rode the roller coaster for four and a half years as best she could. Unfortunately her bad days became more frequent and harder to fight. The diagnosis of MDS on March 26 of this year was the final straw for mom. Her spirit wanted to fight but her body told her otherwise. On April 23, 2021 at 10:37pm Judy found the ultimate rest.
She is dearly missed - her smile, her laugh and her willingness to be silly and laugh at herself. There is no other like Judy.
