Age 72, of Oakdale, peacefully crossed over to Heaven on December 23, 2022. She is preceded in death by mother, Ardyce Molitor; father, Frank (Marie) Van Horn; and brother, Steven (Lucy) Van Horn. Survived by children, Nicole (Anthony) Carter, Benjamin (Rishelle) Davidson; grandchildren, Cody, Broc, Mason, Sevanah, Liliana, Luke; sister, Linda Petri; aunt, Pat (Charles) Stumpf; nieces, Christine & Valerie; nephew, Andrew; and ex-husband, Michael (Ronda) Davidson. Judy grew up in St. Paul and attended Johnson High School. Over the years she worked at Whirlpool, was a daycare provider when her children were young and later, she went on to Century College for her BS of Nursing. She spent 20 years as a nurse, most of them at Bethesda Rehab Facility in the Behavioral Care Unit. She was lucky enough to retire at age 62. Judy was one of the sweetest, most selfless, kindhearted people you would ever meet. She fiercely loved her children, family, and God. She avidly attended church and was a loyal friend. Judy also enjoyed time with her family at the cabin, beach days, boating, and weekend trips with her girlfriends. She took such pride and joy in her 6 grandchildren. She loved attending as many of their sporting events as possible, even if it meant hours in an ice-cold hockey arena or in the hot sun at ball games. She will be greatly missed by all who were blessed enough to know her. Those we love don’t go away; they walk beside us every day.
