Kenneth Lee Bronk, age 77 of Hugo, Minnesota, formerly of Saint Paul, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his loved ones. Preceded in death by his father, Walter; mother, Clara; brothers, Walter Jr, Fred, Jerry, and Duane; sister, Marlin; and niece, Debra. Ken is survived by his lovely wife of 51 ½ years, Barb; his cat, Tyg; his children, Jody (Samantha and Francheska), Anthony (Jill, Craig, Kellie, Josie), Daniel (Shannon, Megan, Jackson, Owen), Jimmy (Amy, Kaelie, Nicolas, Dillon), Lee, Kenneth Jr., and Natalie; great-grandkids, loving nieces, nephews, and family.
Ken was a handyman who loved working on things in his garage, loved fishing, was an active member of the community and believed in giving back to his State and Nation.Ken enlisted in the Air Force in 1962, spent 36 years at Consolidated Printing Ink/Flint Ink, and 25 years with the Saint Paul Police Neighborhood Assistant Officer Program, achieving the rank of Commander. He was also active with the State Fair Police Department Reserves, achieving 20 years of service prior to his passing. A special Thank You to Chuck and Laura Gross for all that they have done for him, and all his special neighbors. A visitation to celebrate Ken's life will be held from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM, with a time of eulogy beginning at 2:00 PM on Saturday, August 13 at MUELLER-BIES FUNERAL HOME - ROSEVILLE, 2130 N. Dale St. @ County Rd B. Interment will take place at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, September 7 at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Memorials are preferred.
