Leo M. Wegan

Age 86, a beloved figure of Circle Pines, Minnesota, sadly left our world on August 25, 2024, after a life richly loved in service and kindness. Known for his Navy military service and the many books he read, the jokes he shared, the games he played on many, and his commitment to his family. 

Preceded in death by his parents, Orvil and Minnie Wegan; siblings, Marilyn, Javonne, Wanda, Dwaine, and step-son, Ron Lee.

Surviving his legacy is through his wife, Janell; his daughters, Colleen, Vicki (Steve), Denise (Ken); 12 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren; along with his siblings, Betty, Pat, Dale, Dennis, Judy, and Peggy, as well as many cousins, nieces, and nephews. We are grateful for the time shared and the lessons learned from him.

A Celebration of Life service will be held in the community room at Pine Manor Estates, 96 South Drive, Circle Pines, MN on Sunday, September 8 from 1:00 to 4:00 pm.  Please confirm attendance for the luncheon with Colleen 910-403-9806 or Vicki 612-554-4714 Thank you!

Leo Wegan will be dearly missed by all who knew him, but his legacy will live on through his family, friends, and colleagues.
