Leona M. Blair

(nee Ashton) Age 90. Leona was the youngest of seven children; 3 boys and 4 girls born to Charles and Anna Ashton and was the last living member of her birth family.  Leona is preceded in death by two husbands and two sons.  She is survived by grandson, Christopher and daughter-in-law, Cheri Stone.   Until recent years, Leona lived in the home her father built for the family in 1912 in St. Paul. Leona shared the last five years of her life enjoying family dinners with her great grandniece, Sydney Jade Mooney, who was just starting her first five years of life. She lived with Dennis and Jean Mooney in Forest Lake. Leona is survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral service 11:00 AM Monday, June 12 at MUELLER-BIES FUNERAL HOME-LINO LAKES, 7050 Lake Dr. (County Hwy 23). Interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Visitation 10:30-11 AM Monday at the funeral home.
