Born on January 11, 1948, in St. Paul, Minnesota, passed away peacefully on October 25, 2024, at the age of 76, in Forest Lake, Minnesota. Her journey of life, faith, and service deeply touched those around her, leaving a legacy that will be cherished by many.
Linda's life was characterized by an unwavering commitment to her career and community. An achiever by nature, she earned her paralegal degree and embarked on a distinguished career that saw her working with esteemed figures such as Magistrate Bernard Becker and within the U.S. Marshals office. Perhaps one of her most notable roles was serving as an administrative assistant for Federal Court Judge Margolis in Washington D.C. Each position was a testament to her determination and exceptional work ethic—a blend of professionalism and passion that she carried into every responsibility she undertook.
Linda’s hard work provided her with the unique opportunity to travel extensively, not only throughout the United States but also to Italy, a country she held dear in her heart. Her love for travel was a reflection of her adventurous spirit, always eager to explore new places and ideas.
After a rewarding career, Linda returned to her roots in Minnesota, cherishing the time with her family and friends and engaging once more with the community she loved. Her dedication extended beyond her professional life as she volunteered at her local church, a testament to her faith and desire to give back to those around her.
Those who knew Linda will remember her as a determined and hardworking individual, balanced by a spirit of adventure. Her story serves as a reminder of the impact one individual can have through dedication and engagement with the world around them.
Linda is survived by her loving family, including her sisters, Faith "Fay" (E.R.Vincent “Vince”) Vincent-Jones and Beverly "Bev" Bork; her brothers, John, Greg (Marge), Joseph (Donna), and Dominic “Tony”; plus many nieces and nephews, whom she adored. She will be dearly missed but fondly remembered by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege to know her.
Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 AM Thursday, November 7, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 380 E. Little Canada Road, Little Canada. Visitation from 10-11 AM Thursday at the church.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Amira in Forest Lake, MN, for their compassion and dedication to Linda's care in her later years.
