Age 93, of Little Canada, MN passed away on March 13, 2022. Preceded in death by his wife, Elaine; parents, Joseph and Stefania Zoch; and daughter, Susan Maile. Survived by children, Paul (Karen) Zoch, Dale (Teri) Zoch, Bruce (April) Zoch, and Nancy (Alan) McHugh; son-in-law, Dennis Maile; brother, Jim (Dorothy) Zoch; 10 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.Marcel (Marc) was born on June 19, 1928 in St. Paul, MN, the son of Joseph and Stefania (Von Szawelska) Zoch. As an infant he was baptized in the Catholic faith. He grew up in Little Canada. Marc worked on the family farm and sold produce at the farmers market since he was a small child. He attended Little Canada School until the 8th grade. In 1959, he received his High School Equivalency. He drove a lumber delivery truck and then worked at M&L Auto Machine Shop before starting his own business. He co-owned City Motor Supply Auto Parts where he ran the Machine shop until he retired in 1986.He was united in marriage to Elaine Mandehr on February 23, 1957, at St. Louis Catholic Church in St. Paul. He and Elaine lived in Little Canada, in the house they built since 1958. Marc was a devoted husband and father. While raising his children, he enjoyed taking the family to Wyoming, in the camper he built, where he hunted deer and antelope. He enjoyed being with his family both at home and at their cabin in the north woods. Marc loved spending time outdoors; hunting, fishing and gardening. Marc’s true passion was being in his garage building dune buggies, restoring old cars and fixing anything for himself or others. Marc enjoyed entertaining and playing cards with his friends, children and grandchildren. Marc loved to make new friends, give to charity, and share his garden produce with family, friends, and neighbors. Marc was a friend to the environment, planting many trees over the years and a true conservationist in the way he lived. Marc was a devout Catholic. He served the Lord through his unconditional love and understanding of others. His legacy will continue to live on in the lives of those he touched through his kindness and generosity. Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 AM Thursday, March 17 at ST. JOHN THE EVANGELIST CATHOLIC CHURCH, 380 E. Little Canada Rd., Little Canada. Interment Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Visitation at MUELLER-BIES FUNERAL HOME - ROSEVILLE, 2130 N. Dale St. @ County Rd B from 5-7 PM Wednesday, and at the church from 10-11 AM Thursday.
