Marcella M. Christensen

Marcella Marie Christensen passed away peacefully at Birchwood Health Care Center, Forest Lake MN, on December 30, 2023.

Marcella was born in Stillwater, MN on June 2, 1931 to Gertrude and Michael Gatzke. She grew up in Stillwater.

Marcella and Arnold Christensen were married on October 8, 1949, and blessed with four children, Wayne, Mark, Becky, and Tim.

Marcella will be joining her husband, Arnold; sons, Wayne and Tim; and her parents and siblings in heaven.

She is survived by son, Mark (Char) Christensen of Lakeland, MN; daughter, Becky (Dennis) Moore of Bullhead City, AZ; along with 8 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and many great-great-grandchildren.

Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, January 11 at 10:30 AM at St. Joseph of the Lakes Catholic Church in Lino Lakes. Interment St. Joseph's Church Cemetery. Visitation 4-7 PM Wednesday 1/10 at Mueller-Bies Funeral Home-Lino Lakes, 7050 Lake Dr (Co Hwy 23), and 9:30-10:30 AM Thursday 1/11 at the church.
