Graduate of St Bernard's High School (1970).​Preceded in death by parents, Robert Gibbons, Sr. and Germaine (Walker) Gibbons of St. Paul, MN.  Survived by sons, Philip Simpson of Burnsville MN, Joseph Simpson (Amber) of Cottage Grove MN; grandchildren, Michael Simpson (11 yrs), Jak Simpson (7 yrs), Hazel Simpson (2 yrs); sister, Susan (Gibbons) Bennett of Maplewood MN; and brother, Robert Gibbons, Jr. (Ann) of Murrieta CA.​Visitation from 3-5 PM Sunday, June 14  at Mueller-Bies Funeral Home – Roseville, 2130 N Dale St @ Co Rd B.  In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred.
