Marion K. Fischer

(née Toomey), age 97, of St. Paul, passed away peacefully at White Pines of White Bear Lake on May 29, 2023.

Preceded in death by husband, Marvin; son, Gerald; three sisters; and one brother.

Survived by sons, Richard (Lolita), Russell (Judy); grandchildren, John (Jodi), Kimberly (Tony), Steven (Nancy), Cherie, Christine, Jim, Randy, Jeff, Danielle (Tom); 8 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Marion was born in Sleepy Eye, MN to Ed & Lillian Toomey. Together with her husband, Marvin, they owned and operated Fischer Heating. She enjoyed cooking and baking and was an excellent homemaker. She especially enjoyed time spent fishing and being together with her family at their  home on Lake Winnibigoshish.

Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 AM Friday, June 9 at Maternity of Mary Catholic Church, 1414 N. Dale St., St. Paul. Visitation at the church from 9:30 - 10:30 AM Friday.

Interment Roselawn Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Maternity of Mary Catholic Church or the Alzheimer's Association.
