Marlene Thiel (Honer)

Age 90, of Lino Lakes.  Into a new life on December 24, 2021.  Preceded in death by husband, William; her parents; brother, Don; and twin brother, Mark.  Survived by daughter, Jacqueline (Chris) Ruddy; son, Dan (special friend Gia); granddaughters, Jasmine (Tim) Eckstrom, Autumn Ruddy (fiancé Brett Klun), Gabrielle Ruddy (special friend Khang Tao); and great-grandson, Jaxton Eckstrom.  Marlene was a R.N. at the U of M and golfed 28 seasons in the Chomonix Women’s Golf League.  She was a proud and loving wife, mother, and grandmother.  Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 AM Thursday, December 30 at ST. JOSEPH OF THE LAKES CATHOLIC CHURCH, 171 Elm St., Lino Lakes. Visitation at the church from 9:30-10:30 AM Thursday. Private interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
