Mary T. Peters

Mary Therese Peters, born October 13, 1939, passed away peacefully on July 9, 2023 at the age of 83 years young.

Mary was preceded in death by her loving parents, Rose and William Peters; and her beautiful sister-in-law, Audrey Peters.

She is survived by her “ride or die” brother, Bill Peters; plus countless dear relatives and precious friends.

Mary graduated from St. Joseph’s Academy in 1957, attended St. Catherine's University,and was a loyal and dedicated employee of the St. Paul School District.

Mary was an absolute force to be reckoned with; generous, caring, wise and sometimes a “princess” (more of a queen ~ which she admitted freely!) She was always present with a heart and a compassion that were as large as this universe.

She adored traveling, dining-out and playing games, all the best that life had to offer. Mary was unceasing with her humble and gracious spirit.

Along with friends, Billy and Audrey, Mary enjoyed a myriad of winters in Acapulco, and over these years, she made treasured friendships in Mexico, as well.

Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 AM Friday, July 28 at Maternity of Mary Catholic Church, 1414 N. Dale St., St. Paul. Visitation at the church from 10-11 AM Friday. Private entombment Calvary Cemetery.
