Mary Ann Kight

Born September 30, 1929 and died peacefully September 18, 2018 at Lyngblomsten Care Center.  Preceded in death by parents, Guy and Elizabeth (White) Kight; brother, John "Jack"; and sister-in-law, Joan (Hannen) Kight.  Survived by sister, Marjorie; nephews, Guy, Tim and family; niece, Marguerite (James) Clemens and family; very dear cousin, Mary Japal and family.  Graduate of St. Agnes HS '48 and Murphy School of Comptometry, student of voice at St. Agatha Conservatory, and 41 year employee of N.P.S.F. Railroad. Member of Father Missa's Chorale, the choirs of St. Agnes and Maternity of Mary, singer with the Sweet Adelines, and soloist at many weddings and funerals. She loved her gardening skills with vegetables, and especially flowers. She spent time traveling with her sister and friends, making one trip around the world, and doing a river cruise from Amsterdam to Vienna, Austria.  Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 AM Tuesday, September 25 at MATERNITY OF MARY CATHOLIC CHURCH, 1414 N. Dale St., St. Paul. Interment Calvary Cemetery. Visitation at the church from 10-10:30 AM Tuesday.
