Mary Ellen Habas

Age 88, of St. Paul, passed away November 29, 2021 after a long struggle with Alzheimer's disease. Preceded in death by parents, Mary and Abner Johnson; brothers, Dean and Jerry Johnson; sister, Dorothy Sandquist; grandsons, Benjamin and Michael, Jr. Habas; and sons-in-law, Mike Tancig and Peter Edge. Survived by devoted husband of 67 years, Clyde; children, Mike, Sue Tancig, Kris (Jerry) Hunter, Tim, Jean and Mary Beth (Larry) Michalitsch; grandchildren, Becky and Cathy Habas, Jason and Rick Tancig, Crystal Freeman, Kaylen (Ryan) Dungan, Kari (Ryan) Bollig and Eric Edge; great-grandchildren, Taylor, Jack and Camilla; sister, Joni (Peter) Schultz; nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 AM Monday, December 6 at ST. PATRICK'S CATHOLIC CHURCH, 1095 DeSoto St., St. Paul. Interment Roselawn Cemetery. Visitation 4-7 PM Sunday at MUELLER-BIES FUNERAL HOME - ROSEVILLE, 2130 N. Dale St. at County Rd B, and at the church from 9-10 AM Monday. Memorials preferred to the Alzheimer's Association.
