Michael ‘Mike/Geico’ Philip Hope (Schweiger), Age 17, of Roseville, passed away unexpectedly on July 28, 2022.Michael attended Mounds View High School, where he was going to be a senior in the fall. He hoped to attend college after high school and pursue a degree in the field of business. Michael played hockey for the high school, loved fishing, being outdoors and enjoyed most sports. He loved tinkering with cars and was working on fixing up his Bopba’s boat. Michael was a loving, caring, outgoing and phenomenal human being. He never failed to put a smile on anyone’s face, whether it was a simple gesture or a not-so appropriate joke. He had huge aspirations of being something great in life and was putting in all the hard work to make those dreams come true. He had a huge heart when it came to family, and he was the best big cousin, so patient and kind to the littles who loved him so. His love for his mom was so strong, even being his little rebellious self, she will always remember his big hugs and that smirk while walking out the door.Michael’s friends were his whole world, never wanting to miss a moment with them doing anything and everything. Michael’s laugh, his smile and his jokes made him the best to be around. He will be so missed by many hearts that were impacted by his loving, creative, unique, spunky, smart personality. He was always there to make you laugh, play some ball, catch some fish, take a trip to his happy place on Madeline Island or just give a giant Michael hug.Michael was preceded in death by brother, Riley Schweiger-Boettcher; aunt Rachel Hagen (Schweiger); uncle Chad Schweiger; and his great-grandparents.Survived by mother Maureen Hope; biological mother Tara Schweiger; grandparents Phil & Patti Schweiger; aunt Hope & uncle Josh Holler; aunt Emily Schweiger; cousins Will, Ashlee, Amber, Madison, Brooke, JD, Finn, Grace, Xachary, William, Ezekiel and Kendelle; a big extended family and countless friends.Mass of Christian Burial 11 AM Wednesday, August 3 at THE CHURCH OF ST.
