Nancy Ann Lampe

Nancy Ann Lampe, age 86 Brooklyn Park, MN, passed away peacefully on October 11, 2024, after bravely battling cancer.

A loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Nancy's greatest joy was her family, and she treasured every moment spent with them.

She was preceded in death by her cherished husband of 56 years, Donald; her dear partner, Jim Price; and her beloved dog, Prince, who brought immense joy and comfort into her life.

Nancy leaves behind her devoted children, Tom (Barb Lewis), Larry, and Debby; her beloved grandchildren, Brett (Erica), Nick Rosa, Alicia (Matt) Engel, Bea Orne, and Trevor Hambrick; and her precious great-grandchildren, Eleanor, Adelyn, Vivienne, and Leo Lampe, as well as Everleigh and Kaide Engel. She is also survived by the extended family of Les and Eva Gonyer and her sister-in-law, Karen Comeau.

Born on March 20th, 1938, in Waterville, Maine, Nancy thrived as a manager at House of Fabrics for over a decade, earning admiration for her strong work ethic and perseverance. Her warmth and kindness made everyone feel instantly welcome, and she found joy in her hobbies of sewing, crafting calendars, and preserving family memories. Nancy will be remembered for her unwavering dedication to her loved ones and the boundless love she so generously shared.

Nancy’s family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to her grandchildren, whose unwavering care and compassion made her final days comfortable. They also express heartfelt thanks to the incredible team at North Memorial Hospice for their exceptional support and kindness.

A visitation for Nancy will be held from 2:00 - 4:00 PM Sunday, October 20 at Mueller-Bies Funeral Home - Roseville, 2130 N. Dale St. at County Rd B. An inurnment will be held for Nancy at Fort Snelling National Cemetery at a later date
