Pamela K. Svoboda (née Engebretson)

Age 59, of Roseville, passed away unexpectedly on February 16, 2025.

Preceded in death by father, Paul Engebretson. 

Survived by husband, LeRoy Svoboda; mother, Viola (Kjenstad) Engebretson; brother, Jeff (Meili) Engebretson; aunts, uncles, cousins, in-laws, and Delores Rivera. 

Pam was a graduate of Burnsville H.S. (Class of ‘83). While growing up in Burnsville, she enjoyed skiing and participating in 4-H. Pam was an avid bicyclist and biked with TCBC. She received multiple awards and became the first woman to reach 8K miles with TCBC. Pam enjoyed crocheting dish cloths and Afghans for family & friends. She also enjoyed quilting, was an avid reader and loved to sing karaoke. In her free time, she baked and sold treats at Vail Place Communities. Alzheimer’s research was important to her, and she participated in numerous walks to raise funds. 

Memorial service 11:00 am Tuesday, February 25 at Mt. Olivet Lutheran Church, 5025 Knox Ave. So., Minneapolis. Visitation at the church from 10:00 - 11:00 am Tuesday. A luncheon will be served following the service.

Interment at Willow River Cemetery, Hudson, WI.

In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the Alzheimer’s Association or Epilepsy Foundation of MN.
