Patricia D. Andersen

Our loving mother entered into the presence of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, surrounded by family on Friday, November 17, 2017.​Patt was born in Wanchese, NC, to Ruth and Lancelot Daniels. She lived in North Carolina, Panama, Virginia and Florida. She married Richard Andersen in 1957, and together they moved to Minneapolis, MN, where she was a substitute teacher in the Twin Cities Area, and the secretary for Richard’s construction company. Patt loved to garden and eat ice cream. She was a spirit filled woman of God, faithfully serving on several ministries, including the Altar Ministry and Prayer Ministry Teams, at North Heights Lutheran Church. A passion to be filled with the Holy Spirit was the most important legacy she left to her family. Patt will always be loved by her husband Richard, her sisters; Mavis and Deb, her children; Marcee, Jill {Paul}, Dan {Luci}, David {Annell}, and her grandchildren; Laura, Peter, Boen, Abbi, Benjamin, Rachel, Kayla, and Jackson.​We will always remember her princess pink nail polish, oranges in our Christmas stockings, Nicholas Sparks movies, Snapchat filters, casting out spiders, and angel food cake. Patt’s final resting place will be in Wanchese, NC, next to her parents. We will have a private family celebration of her life at that time.
