Paul A. Tomascak

Lino Lakes

Paul Alan Tomascak of Lino Lakes died on the afternoon of July 3rd at the age of 64 after a challenging battle with T- cell lymphoma cancer.

After graduating high school, he served in the Air Force as a security police sergeant for 4 years. In 1995 he married Saundra Guetzke and together traveled to Jamaica 10 times to re-live their honeymoon to enjoy the sun, sand, food and each other in a very special place. The Caribbean will always be part of his soul.

Paul worked at Wells Fargo for more than 21 years as a Security Engineer. He lived, laughed and loved much, especially the love of his life and sol/soul mate, Saundra. He is remembered for his extensive collection of Hawaiian shirts, his love of fishing/camping, and the many tales he told about those experiences. He was a great storyteller and took pictures of almost everything. Conversation with friends and family were always among his favorite things to do.

Paul’s troubleshooting and problem solving skills were top notch along with his outgoing personality and ability to talk to everyone about anything.

Paul is survived by his wife, Saundra; brother, Jim; and sisters, Nancy Giancola, Sally Simmons (Paul); along with nephews and a niece.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Doris; and sisters, Jane and Carol.

A visitation will be held at ST. MARK LUTHERAN CHURCH, 1 North Road, Circle Pines, MN on Wednesday, July 14th from 4 - 6 PM.  A private memorial service for family only will be held one hour prior to the visitation.
