Phyllis passed away on May 11, 2024 at the age of 88.
Preceded in death by her husband, Albert Turek; parents, Edmund and Gertrude Memmer; and sister, Eunice Weber.
Survived by her children, Marilyn (Bernard) Hasse, Anna (Matthew) Montean, Barbara (William) Falardeau, Carol Crockett, Kathleen Turek, Margaret (Kenneth) Salmela, William (Cherie) Turek, and Bruce (Amy) Turek; grandchildren, Ryan (Jessica) LeWin, Brandon (Civil) Turek-Krengel, Stephanie (Anthony Ross) LeWin, Amanda (Wayne) Sauer, Brittany (Michael Wallden) Falardeau, Jennifer (Sean) Battista, Madeline Crockett, Andrew (Kimberly) Montean, Hannah Crockett, Morgan Salmela, Nicholas Montean, Jake Turek, Zachary Turek, Lindsey Salmela, Evan Turek, and Benjamin Turek; great-grandchildren, Kate LeWin and Marcus Turek-Krengel; and sister, Rose Tix.
