Richard J. Evans

Age 97,  longtime Roseville resident, passed peacefully at home, surrounded by family on September 4, 2023.

Preceded in death by loving wife Dorothy; infant daughter, Wendy; and great grandson, Trenton.

Survived by son Bob; daughters, Judy (Mark) Thompson, Barbara (Jerry) Pertzsch, Thao and Huong Le; grandchildren Mike (Vanja), Katie (Aaron), Greg, Brian (Lauren), Grace, Becca, Weston, Joel, Bethany, and Bridget; great granddaughters Vera, Mila, and Winnie.

Dick was an engineer at Control Data, but his passion was mentoring numerous Vietnamese families as they arrived after the war. 

Celebration of Life picnic 5:00 - 8:00 PM Friday, September 22 at Lexington Park Pavilion, 2131 Lexington Ave. N., Roseville (Lexington Ave and Co Rd B). Please bring a favorite photo of Dick.

Private interment.

In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the International Institute of MN or St. Paul Humane Society.
