Rita K. Luzinski

Born November 12, 1937,  died on September 5, 2018 at Our Lady of Peace Hospice.   Rita was a long time resident of St. Paul, MN; recent resident at Norris Square in Cottage Grove; summer resident on Mudhen Lake in Siren, WI; and winter resident in Mesa, AZ for many years.   She married Ronald J. Luzinski on September 26, 1959.    She is survived by her three children,  Craig (Cyndy) Luzinski, Mark (Deb) Luzinski, and Lisa Porter; her 8 grandchildren, Jenna (Paul), Joseph, Sarah, Anna, Wyatt, Leah, Chelsea, and Nicholas; and her 4 great grandchildren, Jacob, Lily, Elly, and Mallory.    She was preceded in death by her parents, Irene and Marcus Maher and her husband Ronald J. Luzinski.  The family is grateful for the care she has received over the years by her longtime physicians, Dr. William Ogden, Dr. Paul Vargo, and more recently by the nursing and medical staff at Allina Health, United Hospital, and Our Lady of Peace Hospice.   Per Rita’s request, the family will have a private celebration of her life at a later date.
