Robert M. Cowan

Age 77, of Roseville​Passed away peacefully on September 15, 2019​Preceded in death by parents, Robert M. Sr. & Irma Cowan; and niece, Julie Troyer Bucella. Survived by wife, Judith (nee Truzinski); children, Mike (Julianne) Cowan and Cindy (Roy) Robbins; sister, Jean (Ron) Troyer; grandchildren, Sadie, Louise, Paige and Bryce; and nephew, Dr. John Troyer. Robert graduated from South St. Paul High School Class of 1960, and the University of Minnesota.  He was a fan of all Gopher sports, but particularly the hockey teams. He enjoyed spending his winters in Hawaii with Judy, and met many friends there. He was devoted to his grandchildren, and enjoyed spending time with them. They always brought a smile to his face. Memorial service at 11:00 AM Friday, September 20 at CENTENNIAL UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, 1524 W. County Road C-2, Roseville. Private interment Ft. Snelling National Cemetery. Visitation at the church Friday from 10 – 11 AM. If desired, memorials preferred to the Alzheimer’s Association.
