Born in Two Harbors, MN, on May 22, 1944, and went Home to be with his Lord and Savior on January 6, 2022. After graduating from Two Harbors High School in 1962, Bob joined the US Army and served on active duty (mostly with the 11th Air Assault Division) for three years, and then three more years with the Army Reserves. He attended the University of Minnesota, earning degrees in International Business and Transportation Management. He spent most of his career working in the High Value Products divisions of North American Van Lines and Mayflower Transit and earned many awards. Bob is lovingly remembered by his wife of 46 years, Suzanne Jacobsen Zapolski; his two children, Leah (Cory) MacDonald and Ben (Niki) Zapolski; three grandchildren, Charlotte, Lucy, and Max Zapolski; his sister, Carol (Dick) Baxter and her family; his brother, Jim Zapolski; and many Zapolski and Jacobsen family members. He said that his greatest joy was having a loving family who walked with the Lord, knowing that we will meet again in Heaven. Bob is preceded in death by his parents, Robert B. Zapolski and June M. Zapolski. Bob and Suzanne have so many wonderful family members and friends, and our family thanks you all for your love and prayers.
