Roger D. Kachel

Roger Kachel, 89, of Roseville, Minnesota, passed away on April 4, 2023. He was born on June 17, 1933, in Mankato, Minnesota, to Gladys and Waldo Kachel.

Roger is survived by daughter, Diane Rozenberg; granddaughter, Melissa (Garrett) Grniet; and great-granddaughter, Emma Grniet. He is also survived by his brother, James Kachel; nieces, nephews, and other family members and close friends.

He was a devoted husband to his late wife Mary Lou, who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his parents; brother, Warner Kachel; and sister, Carolyn Bostrom.

Roger was known for his love of hosting family gatherings and preparing holiday meals. He was a skilled handyman who enjoyed fixing and building things from cars to furniture. In earlier years, Roger loved fishing and spending time with family at the lake.

He will be deeply missed by his family and all who knew him. His memory will live on through the many lives he touched and the happy memories he helped create.

Roger's family will greet visitors to celebrate his life from 4:00 - 7:00 PM Friday, May 19 at Mueller-Bies Funeral Home (Roseville), 2130 N. Dale St. at County Rd. B.
