Went home to the Lord on October 29, 2018.​Preceded in death by parents, Claire, Ellsworth, and Ann; siblings, Marvin, Clairine, and Joan; daughter-in-law, Bri; and grandson, Samuel Roger.​Survived by loving wife, Shirley "Lovey"; children, Deborah (Laurence) Peine, Michelle (Jim) Wood, Andrew (Sheila), and Amy Valentine; grandchildren, Rebecca, Elizabeth, Kathleen, Abbie, Andrew, Grace, Leland, and Sarah; great-granddaughters, Ruth and Ruby; sisters, Mary Jane (Ken) Franzen, Jean (Pete) Kirkey, and Ardelle (Jim) Phoenix; brothers, Darrell (Sylvia) and Virgil (Debbie); also many other relatives and dear friends.​Funeral service 11:00 AM Monday, November 5 at NEW LIFE CHURCH OF WOODBURY, 6758 Bailey Road. Visitation at the church from 9-11 AM Monday. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
