Scott A. Skrypek

Age 53, of Andover. Scott passed away peacefully in his sleep on a family fishing trip.   Preceded in death by grandparents, John & Cecilia, Wilfred “Papa” Mahowald.   Survived by loving wife of 26 years, Sandy; daughters, Emily (fiancé Nathan Yurek) and Hannah; granddogs, Wilson and Lulu; brothers, Dan (Katy) and Josh; sisters, Sarah (Joe) Buffington and Becky; mother, Patricia (Jeffrey) Theroux; father, Rod (Nancy); grandmother, Eileen Mahowald; mother-in-law, Patricia Kassekert; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.   Mass of Christian Burial 11 AM Thursday, May 26 at ST. JOSEPH OF THE LAKES CATHOLIC CHURCH, 171 Elm St., Lino Lakes.  Visitation from 9-11 AM Thursday at the church.   Scott was a member of the food industry for his entire career, most recently UNFI.  His loves were his family, fishing, the Gophers, the Loons, and North Metro Soccer Association.  In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the family.
