Shirley Anne Silgen (Zalusky) - a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend to many - age 84, of St. Paul passed away on March 10, 2024.
Shirley cherished the things in life that are most important – Faith, Family and Friends. She had a strong commitment to her Catholic faith which she passed on to her sons. She believed in the sacredness and value of all life - from conception to natural death. She loved spending time with her family and friends, especially vacation trips, theater events and concerts. She enjoyed years of attending sporting events and activities for her sons and grandchildren.
Preceded in death by husband, James; parents, James and Anne Zalusky; brothers, James, Robert (“Chuck”), and Walter (“Babe”).
Survived by sons, Philip (Ann), Paul, Peter (Phuong), and Patrick (Jennifer); grandchildren, Andrew (Brittney), Meredith (Kyler), Jack, William, Ellen, Margaret, Emma, Luke, Evan, Audrey, Jay, Kelley, Eric, Aaron; great-grandchildren, Charles, Louis, Victoria, Lilyann, Landon, Brooks and Sophia.
Mass of Christian Burial 11:30 AM Tuesday, March 19 at The Church of St. Agnes, 548 Lafond Ave., St. Paul. Interment Calvary Cemetery.
Visitation at Mueller-Bies Funeral Home - Roseville, 2130 N. Dale St. at County Rd B, from 4-7 PM Monday and at the church from 10:30 - 11:30 AM Tuesday.
In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to The Church of St. Agnes.
