Thomas grew up in Roseville, attending St. Agnes Catholic School where he met his loving wife of 72 years, Rose Mary Keran.
Thomas was a Korean War veteran and returned home to pursue his love of plants and flowers. He began his career at Twin City Florist Supply. He then purchased a flower shop/greenhouse in Zumbrota. He worked tirelessly for seven years, before returning to the Twin Cities and partnership in Twin City Florist Supply. He ran the wholesale supply division until his retirement. Wife Rose Mary, daughter Colleen, and son Michael all contributed to the success of the business.
Thomas was drawn to lake living, building his dream house on Kohlman Lake, and purchasing his lake home on Johnson Lake in Webster, WI. Boating, waterskiing, fishing, snowmobiling, and hosting parties with friends and family were some of the many activities enjoyed at these properties.
Thomas was a proud “new” car enthusiast, especially for his beloved Cadillacs. As a loving Papa, he purchased cars for each of his 4 grandchildren to celebrate their 16th birthdays. A generous man, a loving father and grandfather, and a lifelong friend are the qualities he displayed throughout his life.
