Preceded in death by his one and only love, wife Pat; parents, Thomas and Gladys; as well as siblings, Patty Ann, Kenny, Gary, Jimmy, Donna, and Dorie. Survived by son, Tom (Davy); daughter, Julie (Sterling DeLaCruz); grandsons, Alex and MacKenzie; grand-dog, Radar; brothers, Bob and Don; and sister, Kathy. Tom had many nieces and nephews, as well as many godchildren. Tom loved “the good old days”, going back to times at Mechanic Arts High School – where he met his wife Pat, working at Hamm’s Brewery, as well as working for the Ramsey County Sheriff’s Department. He was a Korean War Veteran and was proud of his (and all veterans) service to his country. Tom was always busy belonging to some club – setting up golf tournaments, dinner banquets, and frequent class reunions from MAHS. Tom had a special gift for art, and was an amazing oil painter, with his favorite pieces being wildlife, scenes of Ireland, and old buildings of St. Paul’s history. Tom shared 66 wonderful years with Pat, whom he always claimed as the love of his life. They traveled together with trips to Las Vegas back in the day, Ireland, Branson, and many road trips with lifelong friends (Kathy, Larry, Patty and Skip) affectionately known as the KDL travel club. The family would like to thank the staff at Heritage Place Roseville, Kate and Meghan from Good Samaritan Services, and Jordan, Bob and Ann from HealthPartners Hospice. Many thanks go out to Chris and her amazing staff from Northern Stars Home Care. Most importantly, we would like to thank the “old neighborhood” (Carol, Mary Kay, Hassan, Marie, Sue, Steve, Mike and Kathy) for always be so loving and willing to do anything to help Tom and Pat. You were and will always be family to us, and we love you so much. Funeral leaving from MUELLER-BIES FUNERAL HOME – ROSEVILLE, 2130 N. Dale St. @ County Rd B on Wednesday, August 14 at 10:30 AM.
