Trevor John Stroschein

Trevor John Stroschein, age 47, of Vadnais Heights, peacefully passed away on Saturday, July 22, 2023, surrounded by his wife and family, after a prolonged battle with liver disease. Trevor had several hospitalizations in the past months with numerous complications and setbacks.

Trevor was employed by St. Paul Public Housing Agency for over 15 years, where he worked as a maintenance mechanic for the majority of those years.

He enjoyed traveling with his wife of 13 years, Tanya, which often included camping and fishing. He could often be found playing darts, bags or pull-tabs with friends and family.  Trevor adored his dog, Thalia Johanna, who was his constant companion. Trevor loved to create – art, wood pieces, and cooking were just a few of his hobbies. He loved music, particularly his guitar and drums, and fast sports cars.

Trevor was preceded in death by his beloved younger sister, Sarah Allen; and his grandfather Robert Thielen.

He is survived by his wife, Tanya; father, Steven Stroschein; mother, Barbara (Steve) Allen; grandparents, Larry & Bev Stroschein and Patricia Thielen, father-in-law, Todd Nutter; sister, Ashley (Michael) Coody; sister-in-law, Christina (Scott) Wichman; nieces and nephews; and several friends, including Tyler and Jessica Evenson, Kelly Ennis, and Melissa Entwistle.

The family would like to thank Dr. Firas Elmufdi and the entire ICU team at Regions Hospital, who cared for Trevor during the last weeks of his life. 

A visitation will be held at Mueller Bies Funeral Home, 7050 Lake Drive (County Hwy 23) in Lino Lakes, Minnesota, on Sunday, July 30, 2023 from 1:00 – 5:00 pm.
