Vernon Anderson

Vernon C. Anderson, age 83, of Lino Lakes died Friday, June 24, 2022 at Regions Hospital in St. Paul. Funeral services are Friday, July 1 at 11:00 a.m. at Living Waters Lutheran Church, 865 Birch St., Lino Lakes, with Pastor Ivy Huston presiding. Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, June 30 at Mueller-Bies Funeral Home, 7050 Lake Drive, Lino Lakes, and at the church Friday one hour prior to the service.  Vernon was born to Casper and Alva (Danielson) Anderson on October 16, 1938.  He was the youngest of four boys and raised in Spring Valley, Wisconsin. Life on a dairy farm was hard work, and he grew up to have a great work ethic and a sense of responsibility. He retained these values throughout his whole life.  Vernon will be remembered for his humor and humility. We honor the husband, father and grandfather. He leaves behind his loving wife of 64 years, Marilyn (Domning) Anderson; three amazing children, Cheryl (Anderson) Sorensen of Lino Lakes, David (Milly) Anderson of Woodbury, and Michelle (Jeff) Woelfel of Bird Island, Minnesota; and six wonderful grandchildren, Andrew Anderson, Jacob Woelfel, Thalia Anderson, Julia Woelfel, Emily Sorensen and William Sorensen.  Vern’s family would like to express gratitude to all his caregivers, especially Dr. Erin Micallef with Health Partners in White Bear Lake.  Vernon will be greatly missed.
