Vincent E. Marier

Age 75, of Roseville 

Preceded in death by parents, Theodore & Alice; and brother-in-law, Thomas Rogers.

Survived by loving wife, Kathleen; brother, Robert (Joanne); sister, Suzanne Rogers; his favorite in-laws, Tom & Mary Schwartbauer; nieces and nephews & their families; other close relatives and friends.  

Vincent was born in Boston and received a degree in Mathematics from Boston College, a Master of Science and Technology degree from American University, Washington, DC and a PhD in Computer Science from University of Maryland-Baltimore. He joined the National Security Agency in Maryland in 1965. He began his career as a computer scientist and retired as Deputy Chief Information Officer (CIO) in 1999. After retirement he was employed as contractor supporting the Agency working for Telenix and Intelligent Decisions. He enjoyed computing, stamp collecting, gardening, bird watching and photography. May he rest in peace.

Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 AM Saturday, July 21 at the CHURCH OF ST. AGNES, 548 Lafond Ave., St. Paul. Interment Calvary Cemetery. Visitation at the church from 9:30-10:30 AM Saturday.
