Virginia H. Swanson

Age 89 Of Roseville Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 24, 2018 after a long battle with Alzheimer’s. Virginia was born August 30, 1929 in St. Paul to parents Henry and Helen Nadeau. She was raised in St. Paul. Virginia was a graduate of the University of Minnesota, with a BS-RN degree in Nursing. She raised six children and enjoyed time with the family at the lake. She continued to travel and adventure around the globe with her loving husband, George, after his retirement. Virginia was a devoted wife and mother for over 63 years and imparted to her children her strong family values. She will be remembered as having a love for life, with a great smile, warm hugs, kisses and the best pancakes ever. Preceded in death by her husband, George. She is survived by her six children, Dale (Margaret), Joy (Bob), Mark, Anita, Ruth (Scott) and Nancy (Rick); 7 grandchildren Emily (Tom), Cody, Wesley, Matthew, Daniel, Samuel and Haley; brother Charles Nadeau (Barbara), and many other wonderful family members and friends. Memorial Service 12:30 PM Tuesday, October 30, at MUELLER - BIES FUNERAL HOMES- ROSEVILLE, 2130 N Dale St @ Co. Rd B. with visitation beginning at 11:30 AM. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Memorials in Virginia's honor may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Minnesota - North Dakota Chapter.
