A luncheon will follow the interment at the Long Lake Regional Park pavilion.Wally had a very strong work ethic. He began working at age 11 as a paper boy, spent two years at an iron mine, three years doing construction of Highway 61, 37 ½ years driving semi trucks for Sterling Cartage, 25 years as the Carbone’s Pizza Roseville restaurant owner, and 23 years as a motorcycle funeral escort for Twin Cities Motorcycle Escort. As a life-long motorcycle enthusiast, he started out performing stunts, then raced flat-track, and eventually belonged to Christian Motorcycle Association. He always loved an adventure and regularly traveled cross-country in his RV or on his Gold Wing with his wife, Betty. He was a self- taught handyman, tinkering and fixing things and helping many people. Wally was grateful for God’s forgiveness through Christ. We are comforted knowing he is with the angels and enjoying Jesus forever. Wally’s family is appreciative of anyone attending his funeral. The church is spacious and allows for social distancing. Masks will be required and there will be time for fellowship afterwards at the park, which is handicapped accessible.
