William Delbert Haskins

Bill joined our heavenly Father on Friday, February 5, 2021 at his home, surrounded by his family, who loved and cherished him immensely. He is survived by his six daughters, Cindy (Fred) Lutz, Deb (Eric) Strom, Mickie (Bob) Klund, Pam (John) Korsman, Diane (Craig) Branson, and Mary Jo (Rick) Caro; 17 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren. Bill is preceded in death by Evelyn Rosemarie, his loving wife of 61 years; his parents; and two brothers and five sisters. He was born and raised in Indiana. After graduation, he joined the Navy and served four years on the aircraft carrier USS Boxer. During this time, Bill met Ev. They started their family in Indiana, eventually moving to Minnesota where they raised their girls. Bill will be greatly missed, as he was genuine, caring, unselfish and quiet – yet filled with a sense of humor. He was a true angel who always offered great words of wisdom to those who needed it most. There will be a private Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph of the Lakes Catholic Church in Lino Lakes. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
